Clarinet Studio Intensives
If you’re a college or university clarinet instructor and are interested in having your students learn or perfect their klezmer skills, I am now offering clinics over Zoom or in-person. Topics covered range from the basics such as the klezmer scales/modes and history to the mechanics of inflecting in the style and improvisation. Interactive participation by individual students and/or the entire group make it a more engaging and enriching learning experience. Repertoire can include both traditional lead sheets and fully notated klezmer compositions.
